Servings: 1-6, depending on quantity of leavings

Active time: 5-20 minutes, depending on lunch rush

Inactive time: 5-48 hours

Ingredients:

1/4 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise

1/4 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp light miso paste

2 tsp unseasoned rice wine vinegar or lemon juice

1 bag of of Five Guys fry leavings

Directions:

Order Five Guys french fries. Do not dress--dip, rather than drizzle, all the fries you can consume in condiments. Loosely roll clean fry remainders up (i.e., the chef's punishment) in greased paper bag they came in. Request plastic sack to carry home the1/2-to-1.5 lbs of cold fries . Refrigerate. If there is no room in your refrigerator for the fry mass, leave it on counter* (not recommended.)

5-48 hrs later:

Mix first 4 ingredients together to create Magic! Miso Dip.

Remove leavings from fridge or counter, unbag, and bake on a cookie sheet in toaster oven, set to "medium-dark" toast. Serve immediately with Magic! Miso Dip.

For a healthier alternative, the dip can also be applied to garbage carrots*. Soak old, shriveled carrots in ice water for an hour. Drain, remove soft spots with a paring knife, and cut what's left into sticks. Serve immediately with dip.

*Not appropriate for pregnant or breastfeeding women, the elderly, or individuals with immunosuppression.
